Perfect fit for my skirted tote

Worked great to fit a new toilet seat on my skirted tote. I almost had to tighten it forever, which was weird, but I just kept tightening until the seat stopped slipping. Please note that plastic degrades over time - when I removed the old ones the plastic practically collapsed on top. I also found a way to rock the arm around the back and under the base so that even if you have a rocked tote there is a way to get your hand on the underside of the base.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Vulgarity

When I realized that it was impossible to replace my Toto Aquia toilet without disassembling the toilet, I did online did a little research and found this product. This probably originally came with my toilet, but I suspect our contractor kept it and used cheap conventional hardware. This top mounted toilet seat bracket is the only way to install an apron toilet that eliminates the need to screw on from below. Glad you found out!

  • The best in its niche

Goes well with the Toto bidet seat.

I contacted Toto for advice regarding the screws on a Toto bidet seat I was sending in for repair and found that the old screws were not recyclable. They were very helpful, told me the part number so I could order from Revain (their listing). Since they fixed the bidet seat and charged almost $200 for it, I thought they really should have sent replacement screws for free, but they didn't offer it. In any case, the screws fit exactly. Installation was easy.

Works great, but. - Bathroom Fixtures

This great little gadget saved me a lot of headaches and money when I was trying to replace a Toto toilet seat with a skirt. It works like a charm and deserves 5 stars for this part. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because I agree with other comments that we don't have to buy an extra part to get the job done just because the Toto toilet seat turned disgustingly yellow over time and we didn't have another choice to replace it. If Toto decides to pay customers a nickel and a dime this way,

Serves the purpose but one important detail is missing in the instructions

They definitely match Toto rimmed toilets. However, the instructions say nothing about an essential detail. If you find that the rubber parts spin freely when you try to tighten the bolts, you should retighten the seat/bolts. The principle of operation is to rub against the bottom of the toilet (and not on the side walls of the mounting hole). Tightening creates enough friction to tighten the bolt (resulting in further tightening of the rubber parts). Once you learn this trick, you will be…

A bit pricey but works great

We have a TOTO garden toilet (not the rimmed version) and the seat has been moving back and forth since installation. The seat broke and had to be replaced and instead of the bolts that come with the new seat I ordered these and am very glad I bought them. They were pretty easy to install (a bit tricky getting the rubber grommet into the holes for these old hands but I managed) and the seat doesn't move anymore, I think they're a bit pricey but they work - that would certainly be great if they…

These amazing things

Tired of the toilet seat moving horizontally? These fasteners solve this problem easily and quickly. They're obviously designed for Toto products, but will work with any seat that uses a through-bolt to connect the toilet seat to the bowl. The hard rubber works like a wall anchor bolt (we oldies know them as "molly") to fill the gap in the china where the original bolt would go. The molded hard rubber plug has no lateral movement when tightened, unlike your old seat's nylon bolt assembly, which

Expensive but works great

If you are replacing a Toto toilet seat you will need these replacement screws. Unlike many American manufacturers that allow screws to be reused, Toto doesn't unless you're lucky. They are inserted once and if you need to unscrew them you will have to replace them. It's very bad, and $5 a screw. $10 for a pair is a bit ridiculous. But if you have a Toto toilet, you should do this. Ever worry about that new seat that moves. These are expensive screws and not easy to install. Although they are…
