Great girth good for other sports

Don't forget your croup for riding and biting with this girth on miniature horses. It fit my 33" mini but needed a butt to prevent it from popping out from behind her withers when biting.

and it holds up great.

I ordered this for my TB/Paint spreader. The girth that comes with it is tiny so it was replaced with a dressage girth. I've used it a few times, just got side reins and it's holding up great.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Good product Best in category Other sports

Arrived quickly, well packaged. Looks well made. Not sure if it's because of the winter and it's covered in hair, but it feels a little snug on my B-mini. You can only lift it up to the third hole on each side. It serves its purpose.

Solid product but buckles to tighten harness are terrible

Just arrived and put on my two standard two year old donkeys. I made this video for a different audience, sorry for the lack of product details. I give it 4 stars as I hate the buckles used to tighten the strap. They were terrible when served and puffed. They must be equipped with roller buckles. Plus it fits my two donkeys, has room to grow and looks well made.

  • Excellent construction

Second time used broken!

Looked good at first but when my mini stallion stopped and turned while moving on the ground the stitching holding the bottom ring to one side came undone and the Ring came off empty along with part of the circumference. I had to take it to a local saddle repair shop and pay to have all the rings reinforced. And the belt buckles have no rollers, making them difficult to put on. Try to find one that isn't made in China, is sewn with strong threads, and has roller buckles, and you'll be a lot…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Can't remember

Not only suitable for horses!

I bought this a few months ago to help with my work training miniature horses and alpacas. It has continued! He was kicked, bitten and a mini lay with him in a dirty puddle. The D-rings are nice and strong but not skewed so the pressure each one puts on the body is a little higher than I would like. But it's good for training minis and alpacas to handle any hand that guides them. I plan to buy another one and some side reins to better train the alpacas. And the usual horse size for the llamas…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Negative impression
