Works as advertised

Used this on a hunt in Colorado in October and it worked very well. Swivels play a major role in preventing the line from twisting.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Out of style

Good set, crappy carry bag

The Highline set works fine but the bag zipper didn't work on my second backpacking trip. It's never a good idea to have an open box of small parts when traveling northwest of Wyoming.

  • New
Cons
  • Damaged

Amazing quality! Best in Sport

Quality rope and gear, includes carry case (which is an added bonus) Will work great everyday for my goats and when hiking my horse! Great buy and price!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Useless Features

This is not the color you will receive. Mediocre quality at best.

This is not the color you get. Expect a fluorescent orange bag and rope. Also, the rope isn't heavy enough for real use, and the tree braces break the first time something scares 4 horses on your highline.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • I have no dislikes for this everything is fine

Great product: Other Sports

Love orange HiVis! - Suitcase, fishing line and swivel hook. It's nice to see from afar that everything is in place and that the horse is still there. Turning is required. Allowed my horse to move and prevented from turning. peace of mind. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Quality

Worked great: Riding clothes

I'm new to highlining and tried it for the first time last weekend. It was pretty easy to set up and my horse did a great job overnight. I probably didn't need a 4 horse set, but it's nice to have such an option. I just removed the excess rope so my horse wouldn't get tangled in it. I love the bright orange color and the small carrying case that packs a punch. Good product and works well!

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Doesn't go with everything

The horses liked it. in riding gear

I used this line while hunting buffalo on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Only took two horses and they had never been pickled before but they managed the line very well. Very long rope and it will easily hold four horses but I folded it in half and attached it to the trees so the horses wouldn't gnaw on the extra rope. I will be using this often when the season gets colder and I will be hunting deer in another wilderness in November. Worth every cent of the purchase price.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Compatibility

The swivel hooks and tree straps are good, but the bag and rope are cheap.

I did not receive the one in the picture. Mine came in an ugly orange pouch (but at least I should stand out when hunters are around - LOL). When the color description said "black/orange" I assumed the orange was the turnbuckles. Also, the nylon bag is cheap and the zipper works like it won't work next time. As for the rope, I could buy something better from Tractor Supply. I'm assuming you're paying for a swivel hook and maybe a tree strap as nothing else is worth it.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Expensive

The horses stayed safe and comfortable all weekend

We used this set for a horse trip. No one in our group has ever used a highline and none of our horses has ever been a highline. We did our homework and watched a YouTube video about the Highline before the trip. The initial setup took less than 10 minutes and two people. The horses accepted it without any problems. The horses stayed safe and comfortable throughout the weekend. We adjusted the rope tension a couple of times, but even without it it was safe and held to an acceptable level…

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Empty
