Other braided leads I've bought have a metal clip on the end of the clasp. It's double weave (no metal) which makes this end a bit thicker (not a problem, just an observation). Another difference of this leash is that it is elastic. It has some "recoil" and when you hold it in your hands, it can be squeezed.
