It was a good suit but I sent it back

It was a good suit but I sent it back because it was too big. I ordered the large one that I usually wear but this suit felt like a very, very large suit.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No gun

Did my job! in Jackets & Vests

I used this rain jacket for the first time on an overland trip. In Idaho we found ourselves with a temperature of 42 degrees and constant rain. The raincoat kept me dry, including my pants. I had some moisture on the cuffs of my pants as the rain paint didn't fully cover my gear underneath, but nothing significant.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Small Parts

The pants are too short for me

Looks like a good rain jacket but I have to return it. I bought size L and it goes well with my jeans and motorcycle jacket (I'm 6ft 1in and 185lbs) but the pants are too short. When I'm on the bike, my pants rise over 6. boots. There are no stirrups holding them down. I also think the supplied suspenders are superfluous.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • I will add later

I have used raincoats from several companies for many years and I like Tourmaster products for their durability, fit and functionality. This suit is their "entry level/economy" offering and is still keeping me dry on a recent trip from Baton Rouge to Smoky Mountains National Park and back. I bought this suit to save space on my new bike - it takes up less than half the space of my trusty old Tourmaster. highlighted.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different

Poor or no quality control

The suit was delivered to our base for our 4 week motorcycle trip. We arrived, grabbed our things and left. Having a similar jacket I was satisfied and knowing that sizing is not critical with this type of jacket I did not try it on until needed. I couldn't figure out what was preventing my hand from going through the right sleeve. The balaclava was rotated about 180 degrees before being sewn to the jacket. I had to put my other hand in the sleeve of the cuff so I could put it on. Luckily itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Not fit for purpose only
Cons
  • Faulty
