Too sticky in racket accessories

Too sticky and if you lose the edge you can't use it at all. Took a little and then lost the edge of the roll, tried to pick it back up but that only made it stick to me worse. waste of money.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled

What's left on the reel will be useless in the future

As mentioned, anything left on the reel will be useless in the future. It becomes a soft cake and it was impossible to use again. This should be noted in both the description and the instructions.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Upgrades

Too thin, difficult to apply then use the rest on the roller

Great tape, a little dab will do you good BUT the residue on the roller after the first application turns into a big useless ball , non-separable, semi-sticky, useless bundle of tape. Disappointing experience. Excellent seller. Shipped quickly, well packaged.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Useless features

Everything is OK. Next time I'll try something different.

Inexpensive but note that after first use the tape will take shape and become like a padded roller skate wheel. There was no way to restart the coil. First use worked well for what it is - lightweight, adds a grippy surface. Anything you don't use after the first time is useless. I contacted the company and they didn't seem to care that I didn't really like it.

Just the right stickiness

This tape was perfect for my tennis racquet. I sweat a lot and have lost my racquet several times on serve, breaking the frame each time. So I started using friction tape on my grip and haven't lost a racquet since. Sometimes the tape is too sticky and my hand and racket bag get dirty. However, this brand has just enough stickiness to be easy to apply to the racquet and create a good grip without messing up.

first use went well

I agree with the review from 03/24/19 in every respect - this post said "first use went well, worked as it should. second use (about 3 weeks after when I received it) it didn't go well because the tape in the roll couldn't be separated to attach it. In other words, I couldn't get it off the roll. It's mainly because it's so thin and so stretchy blending seems fine with itself so that was good for one use I had to toss the rest (about a roll and 1/2) in the bin the good news was that it was so…

cannot use the rest of the roll

I have used this tape on Tomahawks after sealing one a few days later. I tried using the rest and couldn't find the ending. I thought I was doing something wrong until I read reviews I tried knife scissors razor blades and got something like jelly. I've also read that if you leave the Tourna tape on the handle in the sun the tape will melt into a real mess and you have to take a hell of a long time to get it off and the only thing that will remove it is that it is a paint remover. You can…

Exactly as I remembered!

Need gauze tape to wrap woodworking tool handles (both for comfort and grip) but can't find it locally? Used to put tape on the handles of golf clubs and tennis racquets to improve grip but couldn't find it anymore. Found on Revain at MidwestSports.com, cheap and exactly as I remember it. The gauze tape is very thin and doesn't change the size of the grip, but helps keep the grip dry, is easy to remove without leaving any residue, and is also very easy to put back on. Midwestsports.com has a…

Distasteful but valid comments

There are a few physical differences between Tourna Grip and Gaze Tape Gamma. The Tourna grip is thinner, not as wide, smoother, and not as sticky as the Gamma. I found two differences that may affect the game. Tourna doesn't last as long as Gamma and tends to curl at the edges. This may also be the reason for my way of playing. A more serious problem is that if left in the sun for a while, Turna will turn into a sticky swamp that cannot be removed. I usually carry two racquets with me and the…
