Works. I was able to set up my single din stereo. However; The instructions are terrible. Also, nothing seemed to fit together properly, different parts didn't fit together perfectly. On his own he didn't seem very tough/strong, once he got in the car it's fine. Disappointing product from Metra, I've always had better luck with their other items.

This product fitted my 2005 Toyota Corolla XRS perfectly, the installation was a bit difficult as you had to remove the front panels of the car to make it perfect and secure. Of course it's fragile, but c'mon, it's plastic, handle it carefully. I used a little imagination and modified this item to fit my EQ as well. I've attached an image so you can see. This worked great on my '05 Toyota Corolla. Installation was easy and quick. I'm glad I didn't pay 120 to have someone else do it. I recommend it. The reason for the removal of a few stars is that the device has been scratched where the radios are used. Not sure if it was used as the pocket looked cut open but it's hidden anyway so it doesn't matter. I would like to get a discount when I get used to it, which is the reason for my 3 stars. I don't think it's very fair.

When I installed a new head unit in my Toyota MR2, I installed an old head unit, JVC KD-AR565, in my 2006 Toyota Corolla CE (aka "Dog Car"). I was a bit worried about having to use the frame from the original stereo as one of the YouTube videos I watched said I would need it, but this kit has everything you need to make one to assemble it.
