Works great but no display

This worked great in my 2005 Toyota Corolla. It fits the car perfectly and makes the radio perfect. It puts a 1-DIN radio in a 2-DIN space and is beveled straight with a Toyota design, making it look more like the original design than an add-on. The only thing I would add to your design if I had the opportunity is the instructions for the car model it is intended for. While it's easy to find different versions of Toyota Corolla manuals online, there's no way to tell the quality of the manuals you'll find. The radio I bought had a service for looking up directions for different car models on the Internet, but in the end that database was incomplete and I had to rely on one of a high schooler's posts I found on Google. Since this dashboard kit is made specifically for this car model, this is the most logical part to include instructions. Oh, by the way, I'll give you a guide here: Disconnect the battery, just in case. (Some people mention problems with accidental airbag deployment, but I don't think that's a risk.) Carefully pry up the switch cover. Only constant pressure is required. Disconnect the cigarette lighter/charger so the panel is out of the way. Remove the middle handle of the air conditioner and unscrew the screw. Then remove the air conditioner cover with the clock. Slow, steady pressure again. Pry off the radio cover. You guessed it: slow, steady pressure. The radio is attached with 4 hex head screws, 10mm if I remember correctly. They're deep, so you'll need a long hex screwdriver (and maybe a magnet). They fall and get lost easily. If so, you can find them on the carpet or grabbing things. The dash kit includes instructions for installing into the radio. Be sure to consider the Metra 70-1761 Radio Wiring Harness for Toyota 87-Up Power 4 Speaker Wiring Harness. In this way, the radio can be conveniently switched off later. After the radio has been tested, reverse the above steps. Much luck!
