🔑 Enhanced Toyota Key Fob Cover: Toyota 4Runner Sequoia Key Fob Case Shell Replacement Review

This replacement Toyota key fob shell worked great! My wife's old key broke where the key fob connects to the keychain. It was a simple process: open the old key fob, take out the small circuit board, place it in the new case and close it. This time I added another mini split ring to the keychain so the keychain isn't attached directly to the main ring. I think that might have been why her original key fob wore out a lot quicker than mine.

Update 9/3/21: The company has contacted me and offered a replacement or full refund. As I already bought 2 more keychains a few days ago I got a full refund. Amazing customer support so I'll be changing my 3 star rating to 5 stars. I bought this to replace my dad's 2004 Sequoia. The button and cover work perfectly, I give 10/10. But the small loop on the case that wraps around my car keys eventually breaks and can no longer be wrapped around a chain or car key ring.

The 2001 4Runner keyring loop has worn out completely in 17 years. I was skeptical about how good it would be to take the old one apart and put the guts in the new keychain case, but it seems to have worked like magic! I have to press the new button a little harder than the old keychain buttons, but that's the only difference. Like many others my key fob broke the loop and I was about to buy a silicone case for it when I read it only comes as a case have, and you put it in a broken one in a new one. Wow, ordered, received, the man took the old one apart, carefully pulled out the inside of the old remote control and put in a new one, shut it, pressed the alarm button and the car turned the headlights on and off.
