🚗 Genuine Toyota Parts: Black Taco Exhaust Tip (PT932-35180-02) Review

Extremely easy to install, just search YouTube videos and you'll be there in 5 minutes. All you need is a 15mm wrench. I wanted it to really make a black sound for my black 2016 Tacoma, and it does exactly that.

Parts fit perfectly. Tip: If you're not exactly sure how to install this, go to YouTube and watch a video or something. It's easy to install, but I double checked to make sure. Also do this when the exhaust is cold. It sounds silly, but some people don't think about it. Thanks for the good price!

I didn't like the look of the cheap exhaust on the Tacoma. Enter this product. It comes with a hose and an adapter for other sizes. It bolts on in just 60 seconds, looks great and gives the pickup a more muscular look. Sorry, the muffler noise doesn't change, it just looks loose.

Exactly what I need! My current performance setup for my truck is just a TRD recording. I didn't want to spend nearly a thousand dollars on a turbocharged exhaust and prefer a smooth ride when riding a taco. The roar of the engine and the sound of the intake after 3.5 thousand revolutions suit me perfectly. Then this overlay appears. Gives my truck an extra look while I paint the rest of the exterior. Great buy for me!

It is exactly what you expect and looks great. I would have liked a little more matte, but it's not glossy. Completes the fade effect. The hardest part of the install is removing the old kit. It's quite tight and it can be difficult to fit the smaller end over the larger end of the exhaust pipe. First, watch a few videos to get an idea of the uninstallation. I ended up having to wait for warmer weather and use some wd40 before I could remove the old chrome.

Before you ask - this is just a dressing tip - it doesn't change the sound of the exhaust at all. This wasn't listed for the 2017 Tacoma - I did a little research and 2016 - 2019 all use the same exhaust pipe with the same part number. Suitable for this second generation. At least 4.0 models. The stock exhaust pipe seems to have been the same diameter for many years. My mother-in-law has a Prerunner 08, the same exhaust as my 2013 Sport 4x4. So buy it if you want a better looking exhaust tip.
