Would buy again! for vacuum valves

The mechanic's offer to remove the emissions codes was over $400. Replacement cost me $43 and 45 minutes, runs like a champ, cleared codes on my 2003 Sequoia.

Pros
  • Like everything else
Cons
  • I don't remember

Definitely a high quality OEM part from Revain

Definitely a high quality OEM part from Revain. Installed the part and unfortunately didn't solve my problem (my next best guess). Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I'll write back later

Replaced this on my charcoal filter on my 2000 Camry

I used this part to change the filter on my 2000 Camry when I got the P0446. The screw on the old part was so badly rusted that I couldn't unscrew it, so I had to break the old one. The old part was open. I drove it around for a day and my check engine light wouldn't come on.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Useless features

Solved p0440, p0441, p0446 in 01 Camry 3.0

Loved p0440, p0441, p0446 in my 2001 Camry 3.0. The old one was stuck and had to be ripped off because the screw holding it to the canister had rusted. Found a little screw that worked and ready to go. Codes cleared and after a few drive cycles all emissions readiness monitors were full with no CEL.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Speed

This part fixed my car temporarily. However, .

This part fixed my car temporarily. However, my check engine light came on again and I need to narrow that down again to be my culprit, or maybe it's just my charcoal filter that needs replacing. Eventually I just got tired of fixing a 16 year old car. Although who knows? This part could be defective, but I can't tell.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Appearance

Toyota/Denso OE Quality

I purchased this part to repair engine code P0446. So far this is working as expected. First I bought a Dorman model but it worked intermittently. This part is made in Japan while the Dorman VSV is made in China. This part was installed on a 2000 Toyota Camry Solara. Some sites say this part fits and some sites say this part doesn't. Well, the part fits.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Expensive

The 2003 Toyota Sequoia is perfect for a replacement.

This part was perfect for my 2003 Toyota Sequoia. It attaches to the carbon filter in the EVAP system. The only official way to purchase this part with the Sequoia part number is a complete vaporizer canister replacement with the valve included (several $100s). It is not listed separately as part of Sequoia. I found out how to install from a YouTube video which stated that this part of the Sequoia is identical to what is sold as a standalone Camry. Just note that you'll probably have to drill…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

. driving in my 2000 Celica every few days. Online research indicates a leak in the vacuum hose, tank cap, evaporator purge valve, vacuum switching valve, or/or evaporator adsorber. So I started checking and replacing parts, from cheapest/easiest to replace to most expensive; In that order, buying a new canister at the shop can cost anywhere from $500 to $1,300. The hoses aren't leaking, replacing the gas cap didn't help. Replacing the purge valve on the air cleaner intake box was a simple…

Pros
  • after 500 miles. I keep my fingers crossed.
Cons
  • sad package
