Easy to set up for router

Bought this router to replace my friend's old wifi-n router. This router is easy to set up out of the box. Instructions are included inside with an easy to use online interface for setting up passwords. Since installation, the speed has been stable, there have been no failures. Well done TP Link

Excellent signal strength!

My 10 year old 54Mbps WiFi router was too slow for the 4 wireless security cameras I recently installed. This supports much higher data rates and my signal strength has greatly improved. For me it was easy to set up. I did not refer to the instructions, since all the Wi-Fi router settings are very similar.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Nightmare installation: network products

no manual, nothing. Yes, refer to the TP-Link site where there are installation instructions. The problem is that these online instructions are incorrect. Yes, IF and AFTER you set it up, it works fine most of the time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this router UNLESS YOU HAVE LOTS OF NETWORKING EXPERIENCE. You will definitely need help.

Refurbished like new

I don't mind buying used, they are electronic devices, whether they work or not that's true. I am very happy with the data transfer speed. Pay for 100 Down and 10 Up, download speed 93-95 over 5g band on router. Nobody will ever remember how many devices interact with their WiFi routers until they buy a replacement. I am impressed with this purchase.

Pros
  • Nice design
Cons
  • Nothing

Great router, great price for performance and gigabit ports,

Great router, very stable, haven't lost a connection since I've owned it, about 2 months. I'm running my mining farm with 6 GPUs, 1 desktop, 2 phones, 4 laptops, a Roku streaming device and a wired print server with no issues. The configuration was fine, I'm a network admin so I didn't have any problems with the configuration interface, but it can be a bit difficult for the inexperienced (not too difficult, but without even going into the advanced settings you get very good performance).

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Exchange availability

The best budget router you can get.

Very fast WiFi signal. I love how easy and responsive the admin configuration is compared to the rented Xfinity combo I had. I am really very satisfied with this product. My smart devices are now responsive, my websites and HD video streams load much faster. I've read that this is a very good budget router, but in my opinion it's not just a great router. Check the Wi-Fi speed comparison, this product works great in 5GHz. And I must confess that it is very fast and with great signal strength. Aโ€ฆ

A6/Ac1200 is still on top!

This is a fantastic router so far! While I'm not a fan of the simplistic Tether app, I believe it's suitable for people who aren't tech savvy. The admin app is awesome with almost all options available and editable. It's an AC1200 so obviously not the most cutting-edge mid-range TPlink, but after comparing this A6 head-to-head with the AX20, AX40/50/3000 and even the C5400X, unless you're a hardcore multi-player gamer . and streams, for all other uses, including range in a 4,800 square footโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons

It was a good update

We needed to update our home router. These days it seems like everyone has a Wi-Fi device, so routers need to connect/handle multiple devices at once (we have a couple of Revain Echos, iPads, iPhones, a wireless printer, computers, Rokus, etc.). . Our previous router was an older version of TP-Link and was working fine at the time we had it. but it started dropping devices when overloaded. I wanted to stick with TP-Link and found this refurbished one; It's a router, and as long as it works Iโ€ฆ
