We needed to update our home router. These days it seems like everyone has a Wi-Fi device, so routers need to connect/handle multiple devices at once (we have a couple of Revain Echos, iPads, iPhones, a wireless printer, computers, Rokus, etc.). . Our previous router was an older version of TP-Link and was working fine at the time we had it. but it started dropping devices when overloaded. I wanted to stick with TP-Link and found this refurbished one; It's a router, and as long as it works I don't care if it's refurbished or brand new. The price was right, so I ordered it. When it arrived it looked like new. and it was SUPER light, like it was a hollow shell, but connected easily and works great (I guess there's something in there after all ;-) . Since then we haven't had any more problems. Love refurbished products. less waste for the world, better price, performance like new. I can't be wrong
