Works with mod

This is a powerful little heater for its output but I see many complaints about the base not fitting. There is a slot for a set screw on the bottom of the tube, but it is on the wrong side of the tube. Directly opposite this slot you need to drill a hole for the set screw.

Great buy, small heater but very powerful.

This thing generates a lot of heat. It heats my uninsulated garage just enough for me to work in during the winter months. The price can only cheer. It has 2 heat settings, a thermostat temperature dial to adjust the amount of heat, and even a fan setting to just circulate the air without getting hot.

got a replacement for the heaters

Mine didn't work - I gave it away for Christmas so missed the return date - but it doesn't work, the power light comes on sometimes but if you turn the heater turn on off - outside temp is 40. Contacted company and they sent me a replacement - so far so good. Customer service was great, I had to look up their contact information.

Good until it just stopped working

Bought some time ago and used in my studio last year. Everything was fine for some time, but then the disk began to work for switching from one mode to another - either it refused to spin, or it had to be adjusted so that it continued to work. Today it seemed to work fine and I tried turning it to a higher temperature. Dropped it and won't start again. Shit.

Emergency heating for heaters

I bought for our finished basement side. I have the gym on one side of this room and my daughter's toys on the other. During our severe winter (minus frost) it was too cold to take with us to training. When I first used it, I turned it on for about 15 minutes before we went downstairs to play (with her) and train. (me). I was very happy with the result. I would recommend this to others.

So I have it less than a year. No longer works. I can't even turn the on/off switch. Do not recommend buying

As for the product itself, I give it 5 stars. This is a small heater that produces as much heat as you would expect given its size. Some images of the product make it appear larger than it is, but the specs are correct. If you're thinking of using it in a garage or workplace and think it warms the entire area, it's not. I use it when I go to the garage to take a steam bath. I put it on the floor by my chair and it relieves the chills. You may want a different product (larger) if you need to…
