This game is fun, doesn't take much time, creates a little competition although it's just luck/chance involved, every player is always in the game, even if he has no checkers on a throw, and everyone always wants to play a second time. Let him go; the more the better!

We did a test run of the LCR over Christmas. The boys even left the soccer game to see why we (girls) are making such a noise. We played Navy Blue Beans. The same for Christmas. My Red Hat group came to my house in January and we tried again with 5 beans each. There were many prizes for the winners, so we reduced the number of beans to four (speeding up the game).
