🌿 Trader Joe's Peppermint Baking Soda Fluoride Toothpaste Review

I only recently started using natural toothpaste after realizing how big brands are wearing down my enema (for going to the dentist) and have artificial sweeteners in them. This brand is about a dollar cheaper than Toms, but works pretty much the same and whitens fairly well with baking soda. It takes a little getting used to, but I feel better knowing I'm actually doing something good for my teeth. I do NOT like their lavender toothpaste. I'll stick with mint. I love this toothpaste and my dentist is amazed at the absence of tartar on my teeth. I like the strong mint flavor. But, my god, it takes strength to push it out of the tube. I hold a 3lb weight on it as soon as it opens and it slowly pushes out. It's also harder than many toothpastes, and if you're not careful it can fall into the sink unused.

I have to use SLS-free toothpaste because it causes ulcers. I thought I'd try this brand when I saw it at the TJ store. Despite claiming to be free of SLS, they caused them no less than any regular commercial brand I've tried. Shame as it was tasty and reasonably priced. I don't recommend this to anyone who wants SLS-free toothpastes for the same reason I do.

I really like Trader Joe's mint toothpaste. While not as sweet or "refreshing" like other brands of toothpaste, it is all natural, which makes my teeth look whiter and feel smoother than any other brand of toothpaste I've used. If you're looking for a cheap, effective, and natural toothpaste, this is it (shout out to Trader Joe that it's mostly natural, too).

My teeth have always been yellow in color since I was a child. No matter how many times I cleaned them, nothing helped. Since using Trader Joe's toothpaste, my family members have noticed that they have become whiter. I was asked if I bleached them. I think chemicals make a big difference in what we use. I will continue to use this product. Nothing is more embarrassing than yellow teeth. Thank you Trader Joes for a great product with fewer chemicals.

Trader Joe's should be ashamed to put their good name on this product. Compared to other national brands that use baking soda in their products, this product is dead wrong. 1) very thick consistency that's hard to get out of the tube 2) not very minty flavor - pretty bland actually 3) doesn't leave your mouth / teeth feeling fresh after brushing 4) doesn't foam at all / foams in my mouth like most Brands people are used to 5) The tube itself shrinks horribly and just looks ugly on my vanity 6)…
