Received part quickly installed and activated via FORScan, installed fuse in underhood fuse box and works like a charm. Don't pay too much for a regular Ford controller!

The electronic brake control unit can be installed by a person with average skills. You need FORScan to reprogram your computer and install a backup to activate the system. The rest is no different from the factory.

Perfect fit for the 2017 F150 XLT which already had a 7-pin connector on the bumper. The wiring harness was already in place, all that remained was to remove the spare cup on the dash and connect the controller. Activation requires BCM programming. You can activate it at the dealer or via forscan. Google for instructions via YouTube.

I didn't have the tools and software to install it so I had a Ford dealer do it. They installed it and it didn't program so I had to pay to have it installed and programmed and then pay for the Ford factory controller and pay to have it installed and programmed again. I would recommend just spending the money and going straight to Ford.

Looks and feels like the original part, but never worked automatically for me, it only worked manually, with each press of the lever, after the 4th use + buttons /_ stopped working, now it's stuck at zero gain and can't even use it manually.
