Trailheads Convertible Running Gloves

Luckily I ordered two. Trailheads have some great gear including this one. Although the cuff portion is a bit flimsy, it is still quite well constructed. As you can see in the product photo, there are reflective lines on the glove. There is a secret pocket just below the wrist where you can fold a mitten. Folding the glove reveals the other four fingers. Folding the mitten over four fingers adds an extra layer of warmth. I have to say I used it within 48 hours of receiving these gloves. I…

Warm gloves, but not for running

As a person with Raynaud's syndrome (circulatory problems in hands and feet are mainly related to cold), I was looking for gloves with a mitten coating Runs in autumn and Winter in PNW (Mostly damp and cold mornings/afternoon). While I liked the lightness of the glove material, I was disappointed that the glove lining was fleece. If I had seen it in the description I might not have bought it. A good all-round glove that meets the needs of runners.

When I first received these I thought they were too thin. However, the microfleece is warm and they are warm enough to keep my hands warm. Now I like that they are thin and not bulky. I took them for a run in 35-40 degree weather and found them warm enough without a wrap. In windy weather, the mittens are laminated, which makes them windproof. I think if the temperature drops below zero I will add silk lining. I add liners to all my gloves. The nose cleaning cloth on the thumb is made of…
