I was expecting something thick and bulky but these are very light and perfect for cold weather runs. For some reason I thought there was velcro on the back, but to be honest I'm glad it isn't. The fabric overlaps a bit, creating a bangs grip, but that's not something you need to use if you don't have bangs. Comfortable soft fleece and not too stretchy but enough!

Bought this for my daughter who is a runner. She found the group "too tight" and sent them back. It looked cute on her and didn't feel tight. Maybe every woman has to decide for herself how tight it fits her. She also didn't like the fact that you have to wear your ponytail at ear level for it to sit properly. Again, I didn't see any issues here, but she wanted more flexibility in ponytail placement.

I've been running on the track and field team for a year so this was a must for me! This keeps my ears from getting cold when exercising in the cold. As other people have pointed out, the ponytail hole only works with a low ponytail, but that's how I usually hold my hair during workouts, so it wasn't an issue for me. In general, a hat is probably best if you want to keep your whole head warm. It was great on my ears and even covered my forehead a bit.
