Honestly I don't know who likes it more: me or my 7 year old daughter who I bought it for! I got her to practice haircuts and stuff because I was tired of her using her own hair to cut and style. I'm taking off a star because loose hair is very difficult to manage and gets tangled (which happens very easily). I knew it wasn't real hair but I was expecting a little better quality.

I am very happy with this purchase. I bought this for my 7 year old daughter's birthday and she is going to love it. Exactly as described.

I gave this to my 10 year old niece for her birthday so she can practice braiding and play 'salon'. She loved it so much, she invented new hairstyles and sent me messages about each creation. She even went so far as to open her "Sunday Salon" with her friends to do her hair. Too sweet.

The mannequin head is just adorable. The photo posted by the seller does not justify this. Hurd is a thick head of hair that can be parted anywhere. The colors are so bright and vibrant that the pattern in which the paint was designed is shown off perfectly. The ombre of these neon colors is just beautiful. This was purchased to teach my granddaughter how to braid and do her own hair. The price was great and better than buying a doll for that reason. Hair is awesome, easy to do, and a great learning tool. The item arrived in excellent condition and quickly. Would recommend and buy again if needed.

I bought this mannequin head for modeling and mask demonstration. The only problem is that it's slightly smaller than a real human head. I suppose she could model child size masks. If you are looking for a life size model of a woman's head, this one is a bit on the small side. The hair, although synthetic, was very thick and easy to braid. However, I would not recommend using heating plates on this mannequin as you could damage the hair. Think big Barbie.
