Great CB & Radio mount

I have a Crown Vic Police Interceptor with an NMO cut out in the roof due to previous life. This adapter, along with the Tram NMO cable, allowed me to mount the Tram CB perfectly.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • -

Great NMO antenna for CB.

I had a bulky CB spring antenna on my old car and needed to downsize it on my new (for me) SUV. I've had several Motorola antenna mounts on my Explorer before and this worked great to attach my CB antenna to the roof mount. Excellent quality that I have come to expect from TRAM.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • High Price

Reliable adapter allowing for NMO mounting options

Replaced our 4/8" CB roof antenna on our RV with an NMO mount for easy ham radio/antenna conversion. This NMO to 3/8" antenna adapter appears exceptionally strong and well built, is easy to install and will withstand some deliberate abuse (it's more likely to break in the driveway than at 70mph) . Due to height restrictions I'm limited to a 2ft Firestick on the street, it seems strong enough to support 4ft antennas and (of course) less wind-loaded poles.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Does what it's supposed to

Works as it should. Spring loaded center pin for a strong connection. Had to shorten the antenna slightly due to the increased overall length of the antenna, but the reconfiguration is not difficult.

Pros
  • Fits any NMO mount to a .38" x 24 thread mount
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Sturdy and well built

Very strong. The previous adapter I tried to use wasn't very well made and had to be taken apart every time I wanted to take it off. I didn't feel any of this when I attached an antenna to it, put it on or removed it from the car. I haven't had this in a very long time as of this writing, but will definitely buy more if/when I need another.

Pros
  • Gold plated plunger contact pin
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
