💾 Transcend 128GB MicroSDXC Class10 UHS-1 Memory Card: High-Speed, Reliable Storage Solution (TS128GUSDU1) Review

I needed a memory card because my new phone has very little memory. I can't save apps to the card, so I can't download games to my phone.

I received a fake microSD card. It was marked correctly and the computer saw it as the correct size. Checking the actual size revealed 7GB instead of 128GB.

I used this new MicroSD to take family vacation photos. It barely lasted a month before it started throwing error messages. Now it's corrupted and I've lost access to all my photos and files. I am very dissatisfied with this product and this company.

So after about 6 months of flawless use I suddenly lost everything I had and my phone said the SD card was corrupt. Tried pulling it out and back, nothing. I put it in my computer and formatted it but it keeps saying "SD card is write protected" so it's useless now.

I use a ZOOM Q2n camera to record my live jam sessions or music ideas and I need a lot of memory and I have tried different microcards and had problems with all of them. This Transcend card is 128GB and is perfect and I will definitely be buying it again and at this price you can't beat it.

First use, this thing works great on my RCA Gemini Android tablet. I will only use it for storage and install applications on the internal hard drive. I've tried watching movies through VLC and it's finicky (you can't really fast forward and rewind and sometimes videos won't load). Music playback is great though! I just hope it's not crap in a month.

What is the guarantee on it? 128GB is a lot, and to suddenly become read-only after a year is just weird. At least all files were available and moved quickly. However, the MicroSD cannot be formatted, files deleted or anything done with it. I wouldn't want to send it to Transcend or Revain for exchange due to persistent files that cannot be deleted.
