Helps with hip pain and bunions

I have had two lumbar fusions, a hip replacement, and another hip replacement in the works. Last week I started focusing on the shows I wear. I usually wear flat shoes, but I was still experiencing a lot of back and hip pain plus I developed bunion’s. I got relief when walking barefoot, so I started looking into barefoot shoes. These are minimalist shows, so I decided to give them a try. I have been wearing them all day, and they certainly help. I have also ordered other barefoot shoes.Though I

Pros
  • Nice fit.
Cons
  • Inadequate support for the feet

Look and fit just like pictured

They look a little bumpy in the picture because they were in my suitcase. I wore these all day at a theme park. Comfortable barefoot style shoes for all day wear!

Pros
  • Promotes healthier blood circulation
Cons
  • Not designed for extreme outdoor conditions

Comfortable for my opinion

I don’t have wide feet, in fact they are a bit on the narrow side, but I was sick to death of shoes that mangled my toes into a dainty pointy toe box. Even my favorite zero drop athletics feel like they skimped on the room up front in the name of fashion. These shoes are great, plenty of room to wiggle my toes around and they are very airy and light on my feet. They are not bad looking either. I hope they hold up, if so I might get another pair.

Pros
  • Breathable upper keeps feet cool and dry
Cons
  • Thick soles made of cheap materials that will break down quickly

If you have wide problem feet, look no further!

I am a woman of a certain age with problem feet - bunions, a neuroma, wide in the forefoot and high arches. Over time, I've gravitated towards barefoot and minimalist shoes, but many aren't wide enough for my weird feet. Some are a bit too barefoot - I like to feel grounded but not every single pebble underfoot. And most are expensive. These hit the sweet spot on all counts - wide toe box (even accommodates toe spacers), flexible sole, no pressure points, and I like the included insole - just…

Pros
  • Allows for natural absorption of shock
Cons
  • Causes toe numbness and tingling during long periods of use

Wide shoes that look good!

At my job, I'm walking 8-10 hrs. a shift & these shoes help to alleviate some of the pain from my Bunions/Hammertoes while looking good. These shoes are wide enough to accommodate my custom orthotics without spending a fortune. I'm truly thankful that I found this shoe brand on Best Buy.

Pros
  • I'm not sure I'm liking the elastic laces
Cons
  • Not suitable for individuals with foot issues or injuries

Edit: Best Buy seems to be combining reviews for different shoes. I left a 2-star review for the Whitin Loafer which was scratchy and too small. I left a 5-star review for the Whitin Womens Wide Width Sneaker. It fit great. It's a very good, affordable Transition shoe. So take the stars with a grain of salt.-----------------------------------------------------I ordered these Whitin slipons, a pair of XERO Aptos slipons, and the Whitin Wide Toebox Womens Sneaker in Wide, all in size 39. Pros
  • Provides a greater feeling of control during physical activities
Cons
  • Easily absorbed dirt and grime from outdoor surfaces

I wear arch support with them

I like that the exterior is soft and doesn’t apply pressure to my feet. They don’t provide much arch support, which I need, so they use arch support band and then they are perfect for me.

Pros
  • Adjust the elastic shoelaces and knot the lace for a custom fit.
Cons
  • Too heavy for a minimalist shoe

Smashed and too big

The shoes came in an envelope so as you can imagine the back heels were completely smashed flat. I don't know if that will seems like it won't be a problem. But a size 8 was a half a size too big looks like they're European sizes returning for smaller size. Super cute style

Pros
  • Provides a natural and barefoot feel without the discomfort
Cons
  • Poor design for individuals with flat feet

Love these! best in my review

I have wide feet and the tox box on these are great! Plenty of room for the toes to wiggle and breathe. They're also really grippy, and took some getting used to because they will squeak sometimes on hard surfaces (tile/hardwood/etc).

Pros
  • I’m buying another one
Cons
  • Overpriced for the quality of product

Good barefoot feel, but not comfortable

I like the flexible sole. I like the idea. But around the ankle hurts and I don’t know if it could be worn in. There are also toe indentations that did not fit my foot at all. Returning.

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain
Cons
  • Inadequate shock absorption

These shoes are great!

I am petite and have small, wideish feet. But I have a problem with my toes getting squished. My son had ordered a pair for these shoes and I was intrigued. Ordered a pair and fell in love. They are so comfortable. And stylish. I now have 2 pairs and am contemplating my third. BRAVO!

Pros
  • No breaking-in period required
Cons
  • Not suitable for individuals with plantar fasciitis

Not very comfortable when walking

This is my second set of wide toe box shoes. The other one is more of a trail shoe and I bought this one because I wanted a more fashionable one. I'm not sure what I expected, but these are not nearly as comfortable. They come with a hard uncomfortable inner sole with basically no movement. It said to take it out, so I did and put a cheap double layer $2 inner sole. Shoes were very flexible now. However any amount of walking in them causes a lot of pain in my heel and foot. I didn't have this…

Pros
  • B0919CZ9SY
Cons
  • Not breathable enough for outdoor activities

Great shoes: my feedback

These shoes fit great and have wonderful arch support. The only issues i have is how the shoes come up right at the bottom of my ankle bone and i personally need to tie my shoes sorta tight because my feet are still pretty small but i fit a size 9. The canvas around the edge is blister inducing for me so.my heels and ankles hurt a bit but for 8 hours at work they are okay.

Pros
  • Thin soles allow for a better feel of the ground
Cons
  • Tight shoe laces that cause discomfort

The ends of the toes look very European. These aren't very supportive shoes but they are a little thicker than keds. If you wanted to use these as a work shoe you would definitely want to have an insert to add support. These aren't the kind of shoes that you'll want to stand around in all day. Overall I'm just thankful to find shoes that have black soles that I can wear sometimes!

Pros
  • Great for traveling and light packing
Cons
  • Produces an unpleasant odor when wet

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Unsymetrical but nice

Straight out of the package the shoes are not identical. The stitching around the top toe area is uneven. One shoe is more pointy and boxy then the other. Otherwise these shoes are pretty neat. I can easily spread my toes around inside. There is very little padding which is the point. These are super easy to wash and dry!

Pros
  • Encourages a healthier and more active lifestyle
Cons
  • Not suitable for cross training

Best Shoes I've Purchased

These shoes have been absolutely amazing. I initially bought them as something comfortable and lightweight for my trip to Hawaii. I now wear them daily to my seasonal retail gig, the only time I've come home with sore feet is after my phone has reported that I walked 2+ miles.

Pros
  • Shoes
Cons
  • Not suitable for cold weather conditions

Delightful casual shoes!

This was my third pair of this brand. I can wear them an entire day and be comfortable. My goal is to eliminate orthotics and these are helping me get there.

Pros
  • Promotes good posture and natural foot movement
Cons
  • Not recommended for trail running

Will use for airline travel

They are very 'earth shoe' looking - with a squared type toe. There is very little if any support on the inside. I will have to put some sort of soul ins

Pros
  • Love the roomy toe area that allows wriggle room. Very nice color. I’ll buy these again.
Cons
  • Unappealing design not suitable for all fashion tastes

A little big but nice shoes

The shoes run a bit big but these are nice shoes. The material is breathable and light, great for a hot day. The quality is nice as well.

Pros
  • Good quality materials make the shoes durable
Cons
  • Designed with an awkward toe box shape
