Five Years Later, Still Awesome

Love all the room, all the different compartments and the great quality. No rips or fraying after years and years and I use this beast five days a week. Would definitely buy it again.

Pros
  • The backpack has a locking zipper, keeping your belongings safe and secure at all times
Cons
  • Easily attracts dirt and stains

I like the look of the bag and XF design for air travel. However, I agree with other reviewers that this bag is a little small. I have used a Brenhaven Trek, which is also a lot larger, which I love. However, it is a little cumbersome while traveling with air travel. I hoped that this would work as my daily bag AND travel bag. I'm still not sure. I will take this on my next airliner business trip and see how it compares. It is possible that the extra space under the seat will be an advantage. It

Pros
  • Bags, Cases & Sleeves
Cons
  • Not waterproof

Perfect for MacBook Pro

I got tired of carrying a massive backpack full of junk. I especially hated pulling the laptop out of the bag at TSA interrogation points. The backpack is well constructed, rugged, and surprisingly large on the inside - think Bugs Bunny cartoon where what appears to be a small shack on the outside is palatial on the inside. The computer has a dedicated padded compartment that is separate from where books, pens, etc go. There's ample space for the power cords and any other devices you may need to

Pros
  • The backpack has a sleek and modern look, making it a stylish accessory for any outfit
Cons
  • No additional compartments for toiletries or personal items

Bigger and Lighter than is looks.

I travel regularly and needed a replacement computer bag. I got this one based on the reviews. At first I thought it would be too small to be a good bag but it has proven to be better than my previous bag. The one thing that always surprises me is the weight. If you travel through airports enough with a computer bag slung over your shoulder you are familiar with that pain at the top of your shoulder from lugging the laptop around. Well this bag is so light, that feeling has gone away…

Pros
  • The backpack is easy to clean and maintain, ensuring that it always looks its best
Cons
  • Heavy and difficult to maneuver through crowds

Excellent case and lightweight

I was in the market for a Briggs and Riley Glide Verb backpack case. That's $180. This one is very similar and has the same capacity, but obviously for less $$. I like Briggs and Riley as the quality is good, but Brenthaven is not bad either. So far.the Brenthaven is an excellent bag and as good as the Glide.

Pros
  • Laptop Accessories
Cons
  • Limited storage compartments

A smidge TOO slim for commuting.

As a federal contractor, I had to go through security checkpoints on a daily basis. The butterfly X Ray friendly design made that process a little easier, but the slim and compact design is a double edge sword. It fits all the components for the computer efficiently, but other items for the commute would not fit well. No exterior pocket for a water bottle/coffee mug, limited room if you were going to bring lunch or an additional layer if the weather was going to be unpredictable. The computer…

Pros
  • The padded straps of the backpack make it comfortable to wear for extended periods of time
Cons
  • Design is not versatile for everyday use

Very nice!: my feedback

Got this as part of a Xmas gift for my fiance! he loves it, it fits all his gadgets and there's space for more =)) it looks and feels great! good quality! it is not OBVIOUS that it contains thousands of dollars worth of equipment! I plan on getting one for myself! =)) (BTW- My fiance got himself the Canon fancy larger bag. it is just not practical =/)

Pros
  • The backpack has multiple compartments and pockets, providing ample storage space for all your essentials
Cons
  • Not enough space for larger laptops

Bigger is not always better.

Replaced my HUGE Swiss Army backpack with this slim one. I can actually carry this one! Not only to work but while travelling. My laptop, other electronics, wallet, glasses.all fit with room to spare in this compact and stylish pack.

Pros
  • The backpack has a breathable back panel, preventing sweat buildup and keeping you cool
Cons
  • Inner laptop compartment lacks durability

Love this bag for my opinion

This is the best backpack I've ever owned. It's compact, but I never have problems getting everything I need into it.The XF feature is fun

Pros
  • The backpack has an RFID-blocking pocket, protecting your sensitive information from digital theft
Cons
  • Not ergonomic for long term use

Worth the money! good for me

Purchased this bag with a recommendation of the brand from my brother. Perfect size, its a slimmer profile than most laptop backpacks, but the compartment where your laptops goes is great, well cushioned with little jostling around, I know its safe. For me it was suggested to have a dedicated laptop bag and this fits the bill. I do put charger cord and small miscellaneous tech stuff in one of the outer pockets. Still keeps slimmer look. If you want to use for other stuff there are plenty of…

Pros
  • The backpack is designed to be a perfect plane carry-on bag, making it a convenient choice for air travel
Cons
  • Limited retail availability
