🌳 Protect Your Trees in Style with Tree Huggerz Tree Protector Kit, Green Review

Very easy to use. I use them to protect trees from a galvanized steel cable that I use to hang low wattage lamps. The light cord is built for heavy use and is 48 feet long. I will buy another set of these tree guards.

Almost useless. The wood is slightly thicker than a popsicle. I ended up carving a dado out of 2x4 pressure machined blocks to protect the wood from damage with a 3/8" brace for my cable stayed bridge. I can't believe they are supposed to be used for zip lines.

This is just a piece of felt with 4 pieces of wood. Long enough to wrap 360 degrees around a very small tree. I used them for zip lines in my backyard. I have trees that are 20 inches in diameter and they only cover the back of the tree at a 150 degree angle. You can easily make them yourself without much effort. I think that felt is not even needed. I would recommend simply cutting strips out of a piece of hardwood and being done with that.

Don't waste your money on this. Pieces of wood (very cheap, pine 1 x 3 x maybe 1/8 inch). Instead, you can use any sip you like. 2) - 1 strip of flannel that was too small for both trees I wanted to use. I haven't seen any warnings on the website, but this doesn't work on large diameter trees. I'm over 24 inches in diameter. went to walmart and bought the same stuff for a dollar.
