Works great for Power Water Pumps

I don't use mine as advertised in the sense that I run them for a long time, dumping four 5 gallon jugs at a time. The batteries are good and the pump works great.

Rough Plumbing Water Bottle Pump

I bought this for a five gallon jug for my RV. When I got to where I was going, I took it out of the box, put the batteries in, and it did absolutely nothing, so I changed the batteries and tried again, but nothing.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Quality

It could be better. best at Power Water Pumps

Although the pump worked well and I only used it for two days, I found that the hose was too short and didn't reach the bottom of the 5 gallon water bottle. I had to lift the bottle to pour the last 3 liters and the reason I bought this pump was to avoid lifting the bottle.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Damaged

cheap junk! good for rough plumbing

I bought one and it broke in just a few uses. I contacted the seller to see if they would send a new switch and was told the parts were out of stock. I foolishly ordered a different pump because when it worked it was good for camping. The second pump switch stopped working around the fourth day of use. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Some cons

Doesn't reach the bottom of the pot as advertised!

It didn't work after everything was set up. The on/off button was stuck and not reaching the bottom of the 5 gallon water jug as intended. I would not recommend this water pump for a 5 gallon glass pitcher. It didn't fit as tightly into the spout of the 5 gallon pitcher as I would like, but it did.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Very expensive

This pump works well, but it sticks out quite a bit.

This pump works well but protrudes quite a bit from the neck of the bottle. There are others on the market that are not as long. The seller should post more photos showing that they work with flip tops and NOT screw tops. This is unfortunate because once you take it off the jar there is no way to reseal it with the screw on the lid as they usually come with a disposable lid.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Fits

Built to last: Powerful water pumps

Some time ago I gave up water coolers. Now I just plug the water pump into the top of the 5 gallon water jug that was shipped to me. The pump is a bit noisy, but only about a 2 on the scare cat scale, which goes up to 5. Two D batteries last a LONG time in this unit. on top of a water pitcher. Screwing it on is problematic, so I just stick it in the bottle. So it works great. Take off? I unscrew it with a screwdriver.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Not everything fits
