Loud click every 30 seconds when not in use!

Terrible thing! My previous smartstrip failed and I got this one to replace it. It's terrible! It keeps turning on and off (turning on) when I'm not using the controller, e.g. B. every 30 seconds. It's loud and very annoying. I can't imagine it saving power by constantly switching. As a result, everything must be turned off. I tried all 3 threshold settings and nothing changed. Unfortunately I missed the return window. But I will switch it to another brand.

Keeps turning off when playing Xbox

This item works great with controllable and switchable devices except when I'm using them. My TV was connected to the controlled jack and my Xbox One was connected to the switched jack. The Xbox kept turning off when the TV screen went to a black screen. I was playing a game and the scene went to a black screen and then the Xbox shut down. This happened constantly for several games. This worked great when I turned off the TV and wanted to turn off the Xbox, but not when the TV is on and I'm…

Excellent, excellent product; highly recommended!

I bought this extension for my new desktop PC. Every time I turned off the computer, I had to manually turn on the two monitors, the speakers, and the external hard drive. Now all I have to do is shut down my computer with this Trickle Start 7 Outlet Advanced PowerStrip 1080. As soon as I turn off the computer, the power strip turns off power to other devices after a few seconds. When I turn on the computer, other devices are automatically powered. At first I was concerned because after being…

impeccable work, great deal

These little critters work great. They're amazingly cheap (Edit: Well, they used to be. I paid $12 for them in February 2017), but in the few months I've had them, they've worked flawlessly (Edit: After 10 months, they always are still flawless). . I use them to turn off my Roku gadgets when their connected displays are off. This is a great way to avoid exceeding my ISP's monthly bandwidth limit without having to retrain my family to stop their video streams before they turn off the TV. I can…

There are many extension cords that can take power from one or two outlets, which are then used to control other outlets. The beauty of this is that you can choose the sensitivity of the socket it uses to determine if something is on to control other sockets. I have a fridge in my garage and it can be difficult to keep cool in the summer and like so many others. Fridge or freezer without fans on coils outside; it relies exclusively on passive cooling. With this extension I can run a small fan…

  • Absolutely amazing!

TLDR: is a piece of junk, don't buy it. I'm not exactly sure what's causing this, but it doesn't play. good with my new 75" Samsung TV. When I plug it into a power strip (at the TV spot) my TV shuts off like it's going into surge protection mode or something and won't turn on (even the standby) for hours -Light on TV goes out). It drove me crazy until I found out that the extension cord was the culprit and then I used the TV outlet again. I'm not sure if my TV wasn't getting enough power…

Good but not perfect

Overall it does what it's supposed to do. In the time I've had a TV in the main slot (this is my audio receiver now) there hasn't been a premature shutdown as some have noted (I have a 2015 Insignia TV) and all outputs work as expected. That being said, if I need another APS I'll probably look elsewhere. First, all of the sockets are fairly close together, except for two at the end. Please note that if, like me, you need to plug a transformer or wide plug into the main slot, you automatically…
