Works [2000 Honda Civic EX]

Just installed on my 2000 Honda Civic EX with LED front and rear lights. So far it's working well, a little longer than the standard but still fits normally. Flashes normally, no hyper flashes or problems yet

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Updates

Must have for LED indicators!

Bought a complete LED kit for Honda Civic 2000 I had a terrible hyperflare. Pulled the original Honda flasher relay, it engaged with no problems, the spacing was perfect, the flasher system was back to normal. and off for LEDs versus fading in and out for halogen), flash is ideal, no lighting before the previous cycle can fade out.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • unreliable

Perfect for my 01 chord but doesn't heal hyperflare. Using Sirius LEDs front and rear. The Jtech t5 bulb is in the dash. It didn't fix the hyperbolt. This relay must be compatible with LEDs. (This was not in my 2001 agreement). I modified the new relay by replacing the metal shunt with a 0.22 ohm resistor. After that, a hyperflare is fixed. No load resistors. Not using load resistors defeats the purpose of using LEDs.

Pros
  • I keep my fists
Cons
  • A little torn

Great product, best in turn signals

I installed an EP34 in a '99 Subaru Forester with all LED bulbs. Immediately after installation I removed all load resistors and stopped using Hyperflash. It flashes a little faster than the stock relay it replaced, but far from hyper-fast. It's also just as loud as the original, maybe a little louder. Don't use load resistors still killing your battery, replace your flasher relay for only $5! I am very happy with this product and will buy Tridon products in the future if needed.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • No paint required

NOT WHAT IT IS KNOWN

I ordered this for my custom OEM Hyundai Genesis Coupe. In addition to the regular turn signal, there are about 8 LEDs in the tails that also flash in sequence like a Mustang (or more recently what Audi did with their tails). I also have special LED front turn signals that change from white to amber when flashing. I had an "original" Tridon EP-34 that I originally brought back from Pep Boys in 2014 so it lasted 4 years. But they didn't have that exact one (renamed) so I ordered this one only to

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Doubtful

I have previously tried another brand of turn signal that had an adjustment knob but it didn't work. I ordered this product but Revain sent a non-electronic turn signal from the same manufacturer. Check yours immediately after delivery to check the markings. I canceled the order and bought the same turn signal locally at just a few cents more. The spares stock version is on the shelf label, not in the box, but both are marked as working with LEDs. The indicator worked great with my mix of…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Good but not great

Just what I needed for the turn signals

I am the proud owner of a 2012 Genesis Coupe and have finally decided to take the plunge and replace all exterior lamps with LEDs. I've read over and over that when replacing traditional turn signal bulbs with LEDs, the turn signals "hyperflash" (flash at a very high speed) due to the inherent low power consumption of LEDs. and "trick" the system into falsely recognizing burnout. The Tridon EP34 turn signal is a direct replacement for the stock turn signal supplied with this vehicle…
