A great alternative to shoelaces and pain when removing shoes

Convenient, easy to use. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, covering the soles of your shoes to prevent soiling the floor. When applied, it successfully adheres to the soles of your shoes. Also, it is very easy to remove from the sole of the shoe by simply peeling off the sticky plastic. Added bonus: removing the sticky plastic from the soles of your shoes will also remove excess dirt!

Pros
  • 1 capsule and 1 roll of film (187 pairs) are included in the starter kit
Cons
  • Very expensive

Quick and easy to attach Protective film under shoes

Great invention! The durable film is really hard to tear and doesn't feel as sticky as the thinner lighter film. To use, place your shoe/boots on the plastic wrap and then lift your foot, pull it back and use the serrated cutter to cut, driving the toe of your shoe down toward the floor. As soon as you no longer need the protective film on your shoes, remove it. The longer you leave the film on, the harder it will be to remove from your shoes.

Pros
  • Alternative protective shoe cover
Cons
  • Expensive

Foil very difficult to remove

I don't usually write reviews but I am too disappointed with this product. I bought this device to use for my outdoor home and really thought it would be easier for a visitor who can't bend down to put on boots. The concept is great. however, it is easy to apply but very difficult to remove the film afterwards. Many visitors had difficulty removing the foil completely, the remains and the thin plastic membrane simply stuck to the sole of the shoe. I removed this device to avoid liability for…

Pros
  • Cheap disposable shoe covers
Cons
  • Communication with seller

TOO THIN, breaks apart when removed

This is definitely not the same Trimaco EZ Floor Guard that comes in the Sherwin Williams starter pack. After the original roll that came with the dispenser runs out, I order this one because I think it's the same film. It's much thinner and/or the glue is much stronger. This means it's almost impossible to get it to completely detach from the soles of my boots. It takes longer to get it off my soles than it takes to change shoes, which completely defeats the purpose of the film. I've tried it…

Pros
  • Easier to fit than traditional shoe covers
Cons
  • Something different

WORKS AS IT SHOULD!

I own a real estate company and sometimes clients don't want their clients to wear shoes at home. Customers HATE taking their shoes off and they hate putting booties over their shoes even more. This device is actually quite fun and interesting to use. Step in, step back and cut. Also great if you go outside and need to re-enter the house more than once. Just go one step further and apply another layer of cling film over the existing layer. The glue is good. maybe too good. You don't want the…

This device is amazing. All my customers love it when we use it.

This is an amazing device. All my customers love to see us use it before they enter their home and they all commented and asked where to buy it. The plastic easily detaches from the boot if you don't wear it for a long time, in which case you may end up with some plastic sticking to the sole of your shoe. It's generally fine, then it falls off when you walk, or you can rub your feet on the pavement and it will curl up and fall off. 4 stars because of the cutter. There's a bolt for it to back…

Pros
  • Layers can be reapplied when re-entering the workspace
Cons
  • Low maintainability
