Turnkey Solution - Furniture Hardware

I've used similar products from Ace and Home Depot in the past; You were wonderful. I used this brand for the first time last night. The stain expander would simply bulge on top and slide off - a similar problem with stains. I have a big project and I bought it twice. I wish I had bought this brand

Pros
  • Pretty Packaging
Cons
  • It's Fine

Excellent product suitable for furniture pads

I have used these to waterproof spindles on my patio and they have worked very well. I was very impressed with how well they hold up on wood with extended use as they are not really meant for deck painting and look much better than brush or roller.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Disappointed with furniture pads

The applicator didn't hold up at all. Used it to apply finishing oil to a coffee table. The outer coating of the applicator wore off before the coffee table top was finished, exposing the inner spongy material. They come in packs of two and when the project was completed both applicators proved useless.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Some minor issues

I ended up just using a rag.

They left too many bubbles in the stain and sealer. I ended up having to re-sand the table I was working on and redo the project with regular rags. I thought it would be more convenient, but it turned out to be more cumbersome. They seem well constructed, but be selective about what project you use them on.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not bad

Pretty but not as durable as I would like

Love these little soldiers in a furniture painting project! It offers good absorption and a smooth texture for all types of stains I've used on furniture! My only regret is that they don't seem to maintain their integrity for more than one reasonably sized job or after cleaning. I want it to be in larger sizes to get a bang for your buck and the coloring to be even more effective.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • So-so

Almost useless. in hardware

As other people have pointed out, the terry cloth cover will rip exposing the inner sponge. The threads of the terry cloth are coming undone, the one I used has a 2 inch tear-off. I have used this product, I still had one from a previous purchase a few years ago. They came in a green plastic bag. This new one comes in green. Both are manufactured or sold by Trimarco in North Carolina. I would ONLY recommend this item if you need to paint an item that is perfectly smooth and has absolutely…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Available in white only

I can wholeheartedly recommend these pads!

Terrycloth is soft and pulls strings when caught on hinge corners or rough areas of wood, but it remains functional and has served me well when applying Wood Restorer to several items. Easier to hold and manipulate than a rag, old t-shirt, or smaller, rounder sponge, it applied product easily and evenly without worrying about drips. no self-flagellation or divorce proceedings resulted from that choice!) To me, this sponge is definitely worth a few bucks, and a two-pack is worth the price…

Pros
  • Sample for one year
Cons
  • Many things
