Phones are not for crazy moms. DO NOT buy your crazy mom's phone. She will call you every 30 minutes to tell you that she is still in England, when in reality she is sitting on her couch in the US making something up. I would send it back but she hid it so I can't. I don't know how it differs from the regular princess phone you can buy for $12. Very easy. No additional features other than a blinker that lights up when the phone rings. This does NOT come with hanging hardware! Even the cheapest phones I've bought came with external hardware. My husband endured my mother with a few screws but they are easily removed. They show it hanging in the ad. You have to supply the equipment.

The phone base is too bright but the color is nice. The volume knob isn't loud enough when switching to a louder volume setting, which can be an issue for those with hearing impairments. All in all not a bad phone. I had to order a longer cable as the cable that comes with it is so short that when you pick up the phone it rips the base up in the air.

This phone definitely does NOT match its description. The sound is tinny and muffled, like being in a barrel. Marketed as a phone for the hearing impaired seniors, don't be fooled. The ringer isn't loud and can't be controlled, nor is the handset tone or volume. What a big disappointment but then again the price should have told me what to expect. Don't waste your time and money with this product, you will be disappointed too.
