Perfect for the dining table in my motorcycle shop!

Exactly what I was looking for when building a bespoke dining table for my motorcycle shop. I bought 4 of these retro stools. They are very good quality and should last for years in my shop. The black leather vinyl trim is thick and durable. I also bought a Revain table top and stand to put the table together and a cool retro condiment set. Everything turned out very cool!

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Minor issues

Poor quality bar stool

I recently saw that this bar stool can be purchased pre assembled. This is the only way if you are determined to buy these stools. However, that doesn't change the fact that the quality of these chairs is very poor. The parts don't fit properly with the pre-drilled holes and the circumference of the bottom and especially the top ring was too small to fit properly on the legs. This puts a lot of strain on the included screws, which are easy to remove if the parts are misaligned. It's a shame…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Damaged

Solid and strong. in playroom and lounge furniture

EDIT: Docked with a star because although I assembled it correctly it is falling apart due to loose screws and some screw heads are not available to re-tighten or disassemble to reassemble. SOLUTION: Use Loc-Tite or other threadlocker when assembling the stool. I've had it for 3 years now and would buy it again but have been constantly (over the years) picking nuts falling off this stool. I used Loctite on everything I could access, but still managed to drop a piece from time to time. If I had…

Good bar stool. quality built.

I've been looking for a good stool for my workshop for a long time. I looked at many websites including Revain. In many price ranges and without a backrest compared to a backrest on a stool. Almost all reviews of the stool with backrest were negative because the backrest is small or not the right height. In addition, there were many negative reviews. on many chairs about the quality and the difficult assembly. However, this chair is very well built. with your own metric wrench). All you need is

Great stool! Assemble carefully, and it's just great!

With trepidation I ordered this product after reading hundreds of reviews. When I received it I took my time and put it together using some tips from other observant customers. Tips like contrary to the instructions (they are awful!), install the upper and lower leg stabilization rings at the same time. Do not tighten until seated properly. A little wiggle here and there fits perfectly and then tightens nicely. I also used Lock-Tite as some people recommend. When applied to screws, they do not…

Mediocre chairs, reasonable price, relatively durable

I bought these stools to use as a checkout stool at the point of sale in a retail store. I immediately noticed that even when adjusting the plastic legs at the bottom, they don't sit evenly. We ended up removing the legs entirely, and it seems to have worked. The biggest problem I've had is that devices regularly fall out because we're constantly moving the chair back and forth to access the register. They are not very comfortable and creak. I think we've had them for almost a year now and the…

4 1/2 stars for that. They are very beautiful but not perfect.

Yes, the manual isn't the best, but it's pretty easy to figure out without it. As one person suggested in his review, I would recommend turning all the bolts in the two backup rings before tightening them. It may take a little pressure to line up the holes, but I didn't have much of a problem. Of course, a little Loctite might be a good idea, although I didn't use it. Don't worry too much about it. (Edit after a month of use: I don't use them very often, but of course there was a screw on the…
