Delivered defective hydrometer

The bottom of the sample tube was broken into about 5-6 pieces when opened. The specific gravity was too high but I think that was my fault since I measured the bottom of the wort. I want to be able to use the sample tube, but it doesn't stand up because it's broken.

The new winemaker tests, measures and controls the best

This is my first winemaking experience. I tested the hydrometer with plain water and it was accurate. The markings on the scale are clearly visible and the instructions are clear. The plastic protective case is durable and practical. I'll leave my last star by the time I get my alcohol level, but I believe everything will be fine.

Excellent quality product!

Hydrometer kit from The Brew Supply as described and delivered quickly. The kit was packaged very well and contained everything needed to test the beer. The product design is very good. The instructions were simple but complete. The moisture meter seems to be very well made. I would definitely order from The Brew Supply again!

Thin glass, the inscription is small, but looks quite neat. Overall a decent product.

Sturdy but due to the thin glass it doesn't seem difficult to break. Due to the thin body, it may be difficult to read. Being my first time home brewing, I have no experience with other brands to base on. I assume this is a pretty standard product. However, it appears to be decent hardware and I haven't had any issues with it so far. Accuracy seems pretty good considering the initial gravity is 1.116 (about 15% ABV) and the app I use to record Met estimates it to be around 15.22% ABV. I am…
