Sturdy but due to the thin glass it doesn't seem difficult to break. Due to the thin body, it may be difficult to read. Being my first time home brewing, I have no experience with other brands to base on. I assume this is a pretty standard product. However, it appears to be decent hardware and I haven't had any issues with it so far. Accuracy seems pretty good considering the initial gravity is 1.116 (about 15% ABV) and the app I use to record Met estimates it to be around 15.22% ABV. I am definitely not disappointed with the product. The bottle is plastic but looks sturdy. The storage bag is also a nice addition to keep everything together.
