Excellent durable cable

My current cable has been swapped between new and upgraded PCs for about 15 years and recently started sparking at the power connector due to it being so worn and weakened. Since I recently upgraded the PSU to 850W, I figured I should also upgrade the cable gauge, which is great. Unfortunately, there wasn't an option for a low-profile plug (which plugs into the wall and exits out the side of the plug), but I'm much more confident that I have the right power cord that I might need, even if I am…

Pros
  • 10 ft. POWER CORD: has a C13 socket on one end and a standard 5 15P plug on the other end. This allows you to add 10 feet to the length of your PC power cord or peripherals, converting your C14 to a standard 5 15P
Cons
  • . Big and Bulky

Not all cables are created equal and that definitely applies to power cords. that you don't just buy the cheapest cable you can find and assume they're all the same quality and offer the same features, if I may call it that. get this power. There are three general wire gauges (thickness): 14 ga wire that supports up to 15 amps, 16 ga wire that supports up to 10 amps, 18 ga wire that supports up to 5 amps. You can think of current as the rate of water flow in a pipe. If a pipe can support a…

Pros
  • LIFETIME WARRANTY: The desktop power cord is backed by a lifetime limited warranty. Wire Size (OD mm²): 2.08
Cons
  • Not the best

Loose socket - appears longer than usual

Used to replace the standard POS power cable on my water still. Powered on, but the burner did not turn on. The connection seems sloppy, also the socket seems to be longer. Not a distiller because I just replaced the C14 plug and have an old printer power cord that I used temporarily, it and the old power cord match perfectly. I think I might bother going back, but I don't want to worry. Pretty disappointed, I mean we're talking about a power cord and not an electron microscope.

Pros
  • LIFETIME WARRANTY: The desktop power cord is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Wire Gauge (OD, mm²): 2.08
Cons
  • unreliable

I currently live in an old house that has had part of the electrical system upgraded and part not. If you have a small home music studio, your gear will definitely let you know when something goes wrong. From 60 noise cycles to ground loops, overcurrent or undervoltage. All bad news. It might not solve all your problems, but having quality cables will surely help. In the picture you can see the size difference between your regular 18 gauge power cord and the Tripp Lite 14 gauge power cord. The…

Pros
  • QUALITY CONNECTORS: 15P Terminals C13 to 5, 3 wire 14 AWG, rated 15A/125V
Cons
  • Expensive

Not all cables are made equal, and this definitely applies to power cords. You don't NEED to just buy the cheapest cable you can find and assume they're all the same quality and offer the same functionality so to speak. When looking for a power cord, the most important factor in deciding what amperage to go with. There are three general wire gauges (gauges): 14G wire for up to 15A, 16G wire for up to 10A, 18G wire for up to 5A. You can think of the current as the speed of water flow in a pipe…

Pros
  • 10ft POWER CORD: has a C13 female connector on one end and a standard 5 15P male connector on the other end. This adds 10 feet to the length of the PC or peripheral power cord, turning the C14 into a standard 5 15P
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled
