I would rather speak to their support team but I can't.

I'd rather speak to the support team but I can't find a link anywhere. I bought this on purpose because it's guaranteed to work and "insured" but just 2 weeks ago we had a thunderstorm and my phone and Roku burned out. The green light is still on so I'm wondering A) how did this happen and B) how can I use "insurance" to replace my blown electronics?

What more can I say. It has an always-on plug, which is handy for things you always want on but want everything else off. The quality of the materials is high and the cord is 6 feet long, making it easy to use in many situations. The best part is the recessed on/off toggle switches for each plug. You never knew you needed them so badly until you had a plug that was too big to fit an extension cord, as it keeps shutting off the outlet when the oversized adapter presses the on/off button. I contacted Tripp Lite about this 1 power strip portable surge protector from Tripp Lite as Revain has had a lot of reviews posted about overheating and fire and related products. Tripp Lite was unable to provide any documentation to indicate that the Tripp Lite 1-Outlet Portable Surge Protector Power Strip will interrupt power to connected devices and/or other safe failure modes when the surge protector is depleted. On the other hand, the Tripp Lite Isobar 2 Outlet Surge Protection Tripp Liteโ€ฆ

Brand new 12 socket (TLP128TTUSBB) USB charging ports are smoked!

I've recently learned that most surge protectors will continue to work even after their protective capacity has been exhausted. You may have a "guarded" light that has stopped lighting up, but you need to know what to look for. Also, I've learned that unlike smoke detectors, most major companies recommend replacing devices every X years. After circling my house, I found several surge protectors with a protected light that no longer burns. To that end, I've decided to replace every surgeโ€ฆ
