Great compact USB extension cable

Easy to set up and attach, UL listed. Installation was easy, you use the two screws provided and attach it to the bracket. The strip does not run inside the metal bracket, but in front of it. The power cable runs through the back. Connect and done. The screw mount was deep enough and easily attached to my desk. Sturdy, USB ports could be upgraded.

Well built overall, definitely helps load things up on my desk. I didn't use the phone/tablet stand because it's too far away and it's no problem to just leave the phone next to me. You're unlikely to find a better surge protector this small and with a desktop clip for the same money unless you throw the UL rating out the window and risk buying a cheap fake. Nice socket for the table!

I like to clamp and feed right from my desk without getting out and looking for a fork. I use an adjustable desk on wheels that I can move from my bedroom to my home office to my living room. All I have to do is unplug an outlet, that's this item, and I can wheel it anywhere without pulling out a bunch of crap plugs. Now I mainly use it to power my monitor and laptop. I use the other to power my keyboard, mouse, iPad or iPhone. I've never used USB ports on the side, only based on another review

Added convenience for the home office and Tripp quality

I have previously bought Tripp surge protectors and found them very well made. Most importantly, they also offer more credible (aka trusted) surge protection than almost any other consumer surge protector. The power supply cannot be remotely inserted into the holder. Even trying to bend him in a vise.

Update: Reduced to one star. I tried taking it to the store to see if maybe it's just bent, but after trying it out in a vise and clamping/bending it a variety of ways with pliers, I found that the strip , which they sent me, did not fit. in the mountain. However, since they sent me an extension with a cable on the back that only works when installed, none of them can be used. Good idea, terrible and overpriced for a poorly tuned product.
