TRIXIE Small Animal Harness and Bungee Leash: Ideal for Rabbits, Hamsters, Rats, and Guinea Pigs Review

This harness is perfect for our new rabbit. We did a loop, or rather a jump, and she loved it and it was easy for us to control. I liked that I could give her enough freedom to explore without worrying about her safety. It's fairly easy to put on, although the small buckle is difficult to undo.

Too tight on a rabbit's neck. He seemed angry when I put it on for the first time. The second time he just tried to bite and scratch his neck. For small dwarf bunnies with small necks this would probably be fine but my adult bunny had a double chin on his neck which really bothered her. Otherwise it's great. Well made and designed. As said, if you have a small or dwarf rabbit this would be a great choice.

Very cute light blue color easy to put on. The leash is very elastic and doubles in length. The downside is that when your rabbit goes somewhere, you don't have to pull the leash to stop it because it's very stretchy. If the rabbit moves forward, the vest is safe, but if the leash is trained and it pulls back, it learns that it can slip right out of the back, then again we have the escape master and not the rabbit, so other rabbits will maybe not so wise it.

The harness did not fit my rabbit. She managed to break the front closure and the extra velcro caught in her fur as she is a lion head. What I liked about this harness was that the leash was stretchy, which is good for rabbits because they tend to buck. Leashes that are less gentle can pull a rabbit that suddenly breaks free. I recommend buying the dishes and throwing them away. Then buy an H-type cat harness when your rabbit is small enough. Then use the leash from this set.

I bought this for my 7 year old rabbit daughter and she loves it! The leash stretches for yard walks, the mesh feels comfortable and breathable for rabbit fur, and is very easy to put on and take off. I suggest making it tight so the rabbit doesn't slip out and hold on to the leash as they can easily chew the leash off and run away. But very adorable and beautifully made, I have a happy daughter because of it and I'm sure her bunny likes to get out of her cage from time to time.

It seems a bit short for my bunny and there is no option to choose colors. My rabbit is a boy and his color is grey. I want the color blue as shown in the picture but the seller actually sent pink! Anyway the quality is ok but when I start my rabbit it seems a bit strange. He is a fluffy bunny and seems uncomfortable getting dressed. And the neck didn't fit. but at least I can take my rabbit for a walk and he's really exciting because for the first time he doesn't have to be held but can run…

Very comfortable and fits my daughter's crippled little rabbit well. When she takes her child outside for physical therapy, she puts this strap on him and can help him exercise his leg muscles without harming him. With the other harness we had put too much pressure on his skin and he didn't look happy. Unfortunately this was the only thing we could find for him at the time as he was very small.
