This was bought for a new table. The table completely covers the sockets. This is ideal for transferring power from the back to the front of the desk compartment. Attaching to the side panel was easy with the included screws. I liked that they added 1 extra screw for those times the screws fall off and run away. The white color suits the cage so well that it is almost invisible. I liked the three USB ports. My family always needs to have tablets and phones connected, it makes work a lot easier.

Just bought a new house and noticed that all the sockets are in the living room behind the furniture. In addition, sockets are located at floor level, which makes connection difficult. Bought 4 of these, installed them (with screws) on my bed and some walls so our bedrooms had sockets for charging phones etc. It was a real disappointment. All 4 hold the AC plugs loosely, meaning anything plugged into them will fall out with little to no effort. The USB DC ports are fine.
