Soft unhardened tips don't work

First of all, these were the most convenient pliers I've ever used to make mail. I wish the tips were better made/hardened. I chose to ignore other reviews that mentioned the tips might fall off. The tips began to bend just 30 minutes after the small soft rings were closed. I have many pliers for other sizes and types of rings so I specifically ordered them to make finer jewelry.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

A worthy prize for your hands!

The price is worth it! for the fact that I spend all day making chainmail jewelry and my hands get tired. My arms don't get as tired at the end of the day with this brand and a lot of that is due to the fact that the springs never wear out or shift like some of the cheaper ones I've bought and replaced a few times and should have received sooner . They might not be for all budgets, but save, it's worth your hands and your work.

Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Great pliers until they break

Another chain postman intervenes. These pliers were often used on 20-18 SWG wire, so they never went beyond recommended use. These are great pliers. until they break. The handle is comfortable, doesn't cut your hands, and the jaws are small enough to get into pretty tight places. All is well and good, but the price isn't backed by durability. I've been using them since about August 2017 and my jaw broke today. Now I fear my 752 will do the same. Good pliers that do their job but are not worth…

Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other pickaxes

The tip broke off immediately.

I have to admit that while I enjoy using these pliers and have already bought a new pair, I am very disappointed in their durability given the price. I make chain mail and of course I have to use 2 pliers at the same time. I keep them in my dominant hand for use, while the other pair I've been using since I started learning is a cheap $10 pair (a popular "B" brand pair that's already lasted three times as long has like trones). . I was recently working on a small piece and one of the tips…

Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
