🎩 Cheyenne Horseback Riding Helmet by Troxel Review

Finally decided to wear a helmet while riding. This helmet looks very stylish, fits very well and is very well made. I am very glad I made the purchase and decided to wear a helmet. It does the job. If you are considering a purchase I would highly recommend Cheyenne.

I am very satisfied with this helmet. It's beautiful and very western. I added a hat with a brim cut out of a cowboy hat. you can do it too (See instructions from Karen with a hat from hell on Facebook). Unfortunately, many of my peers in the western riding world do not wear helmets. What a great way to protect your head and stay western style!

This helmet is a great product from Troxel. Bought for my wife for riding lessons and we reviewed it at a few local gear stores but was cheaper here at Revain. Adjusting the back of the helmet is easy and fits the rider very well. The price is right and the helmet is perfect. Spend a little more for more convenience.

I followed the Troxel measurements before ordering and the helmet fit the area I was supposed to measure but tapered towards the top of the head causing uncomfortable pressure points. It could just be my skull shape. I love the look of the helmet so I sent it back and ordered a size up and it can be adjusted to fit almost the smallest size. I'll keep it, but I'd like the skullcap to be a little more rounded.

It looks simple in the pictures, but it's actually great. true size. I have a round head and it's so comfortable I forgot it was there before. Looks great when riding western or cross country. Lots of compliments too. I hope they continue this design. Every time I fall in love with a design, Troxel gives it up. Great stitching and takes abuse. Holds and protects.

Nice helmet, as in the photo. It's a bit smaller than my Troxel Rebel but still fits well. I wanted a nice stylish western style helmet and this fits perfectly. I waited for it to go on sale on National Helmet Day and that sale made me even happier with this helmet. I would buy this again. (This one will remain a helmet for windy days, I'm not making it a hell hat although it will make a good one) I'm happy with it.

Riding with a different helmet which was extremely painful and I think different heads have different shapes; My head is oval. I have known this for many years from buying motorcycle helmets. I went shopping and several product reviews recommended Troxel for people with oval heads. Haven't worn it for riding yet but this helmet is very comfortable and I expect it to be "the right thing". It was three times the price of my last helmet, but that was probably due to the style due to the leather…
