Good replacement for RCD socket outlets

Both test and reset button tested. It works as it should. I like the LED indicator that shows when a ground fault is tripped. My previous branch had wrong-way trips which this new branch fixed.

Quality socket but TR can be annoying

Product appears to be of good quality and installation is easy if you are familiar with sockets/GFCI installation (check out the YouTube video , if you don't). The tamper-proof feature can be a little annoying and fool even people unfamiliar with TR into thinking the socket is broken. However, electrical codes are beginning to mandate TR outlets in certain locations.

Big brand. It's good.

So far so good in terms of performance. In fact, I bought these Eaton models because Eaton makes the large components I've seen at the chemical plant I work at to control lighting circuits. I bought these to replace a bunch of GFCIs that keep shutting down in my 10 year old house for no logical reason. I guess it's better to turn on a faulty/old GFI more often than stay hot and dangerous. But I would have thought the GFI would last more than 10 years. I hope these Eaton last more than 10 years.
