I bought this temperature controller to set my drinks cooler at almost 38F which should be when the thermostat is on. Unfortunately, this control, which was supposed to work on the TBB-4G, made it colder. Easy to install but nowhere near the grades promised.

Installed in my real Tuc-48. At the lowest level, 1 has not yet switched itself off and is at 34 degrees. With this setting, the temperature should not fall below 38. Update: It dropped to 26 degrees before shutting down at the highest temp. Sent back and bought elsewhere.

I bought this for the True TDD-1, it's about 10 years old and it cooled to 20 degrees Fahrenheit on the lowest setting. The distribution lines were frozen and not serviced. I found how to do it on YouTube and it took me about 15 minutes to change the thermostat. After replacement, the refrigerator will hold about 38 degrees Fahrenheit at setting #4. There are some negative reviews but this worked for me.

I run a restaurant and am also a consultant in the F&B industry. It really is a piece of junk. I don't know how they are still operating. Everything built as cheaply as possible from thin sheet metal and without any structure. Anyone who has ever repaired a True (anyone who has had a True) will tell you that the flimsy construction makes them almost impossible to put back together. Buy something else. One more thing.

My True fridge temperature control has stopped working for 6 months. I've had bottles freezing and exploding on two separate occasions and figured I could fix it by resetting them each time. I was wrong. I ordered this and followed the instructions to replace the device. It was easy to install and worked straight away to keep everything within the set temperature range. It's been a few months and there haven't been any problems. Very glad I ordered this.

Installing in TRUE GDM-49 was pretty easy. The range should be 33F-38F or 0.5C-3.3C. At its warmest settings, this unit will regulate to 1°C and drop to -15°C from there. I am using this as a lab fridge and would like to control 4°C +/- 2°C. I saw this for sale and it turned out to be very similar to the OEM unit for my Uline 2015WCB wine cooler but 2 times more expensive. I decided to try it, it's been working for several months. The attachment to the frame is a perfect fit. I had to twist the temp sensor as this replacement is straight wire - no problem.
