Description of TRUE METRIX® Solution Solutions TRUEplus®

Recommended use before using the system to perform a blood test. When opening a new vial of strips or if blood results seem unusually high or low based on patient's symptoms and condition. If strip vial has been left open or exposed to extreme heat, cold or humidity (recommend replacement). If meter damage is suspected (Meter dropped, crushed, wet, etc.). DO NOT EVER DRINK OR INJECT THE CONTROL SOLUTION!.

Sorry Exactly best at levels

I was hoping my meter reading was high, but unfortunately these solutions show that my meter and streaks were high. Maybe I should change my rating to one star. (Or stop eating junk.)

It works as advertised. Still not happy

I don't like that there is a wide range of answers. You need to know exactly how much of the substance is in solution and what a device should read with a tolerance well below 30 mg/dl. I would be happy with exactly or +/- 5mg/dl

Great replacement for external controls

Loved the 3 different level ranges to test my meter's accuracy; Normally one level would be enough, but I had different ranges when testing my glucose readings that turned out to be related to a new drug I was starting, and the different readings confirmed the accuracy of my own readings.

RANGE DISAPPOINTMENT

I would expect a calibration pattern to have a much narrower range when something is calibrated. If my readings are off by 30mg and can be considered correct, that appears large and there may be a difference between high and within range. To be fair, it has to be said that the measured values of the three solutions are actually in the advertised range. I'll have to take a look, maybe with a more accurate gauge.

Works well 👍 in measurement and layout tools

Works well and as it should. I tested each bottle twice because I'm new to it. In each test, the maximum difference was 2 points. Although carton 2 and 3 were sealed the bottles were not tamper evident like bottle 1. Carton 1 was not sealed I believe because bottle 1 was tamper evident. Make sure cartons or bottles are sealed.
