Perfect fit, mediocre design

I'm 5ft 4in male, size 130 and shoe size 7. The small short model is the first one that really fits. We have 20-30 Firm and they are VERY uncomfortable on the feet at first. There were red sores on the outside of the foot near the toes. I looked at the fabric, INSIDE felt rough. Other brands had rough material on the outside. Now I wear them inside out and they are NOW perfectly comfortable. Manufacturing defect or bad design? I don't care what they look like, what matters is how comfortable…

Will buy again "great " medical support socks

great toe area, they don't wrinkle my toes like the ones i got from the local hospital they hurt. My second toe is bigger than my big toe making it difficult to work with shoes etc. They pinch my feet, they take a little longer to put on, but with my gloves it's much easier to put them on my feet. I'm 5ft 2in and this shorter version hits just below my knees. I'm a regular size to try and have to fold over the top elastic to work. All in all - will buy these "great" medical support socks again.

The color is more ORANGE than beige - unnatural and unattractive

BEIGE Color differs in standard and short lengths! I have the same standard length Truform knee compression stockings. So when Short Length Beige came along, I had to compare myself to them. I noticed that the Short Length Beige looks more orange, so I put two pairs side by side and saw a big difference! The short length looks more like your grandmother's orange compression hose, while the regular length is a much more natural beige color. They fit well but don't match the colors I'm wearing…

Cheaper offline: stockings

The material is too thick for my taste and it may be random whether you choose regular or short length (at least 2 inch difference between them), but plus the sock design and heels are a lot better than the stockings my doctor gave me as they are looser and don't pinch the toes. Wal-Mart has them for about $15 plus tax, so if you pay more, you're getting ripped off. At least that's how you feel when you've already bought them and realize you can save a few bucks.

  • Comfortable to wear
Cons
  • Working speed

ATTENTION, short length (petite) is not short!

I've been wearing compression stockings for over 50 years. I'm active and healthy, so I know a lot about different types of compression stockings. Great value for money (if they fit you) but these stockings are not as short as advertised (some companies call them Petite). When I say short, I mean the length between the knee and the foot/ankle. THESE ARE NOT SHORT! They will curl up (or hang around the ankle) and form a tourniquet (like a rubber band) around these areas, making the swelling…

The best of everyone doing their job!

Of all the compression socks I own, 30-40 (and slightly smaller), these fit the best. To work, they need to put more pressure on the ankle and gradually release tension in the calf. Measurable improvement in POTS symptoms. Life becomes more normal when I wear this. Other symptoms are also easier to manage due to the relief from brain fog. They actually fit both my ankle (many of them are baggy and inefficient) and calf for the appropriate graduated tension. I also like the open toe. I find the…

Finally without toes And in short? Hooray!

After wearing support tubes for over a decade, I was pleased to discover that they were finally making fingerless tubes in shorter lengths. I'm 5 1/2 feet and the shorter stockings are still a bit long but not terrible. Before the shorter length, I always had rolled fabric under my knees, and if you've ever worn support stockings you know that right under the piping, unless they're layered, it's quite uncomfortable. I will confess that I often didn't wear my compression stockings as prescribed…

I like that I can get them on short notice

My doctor ordered me to start wearing medical compression stockings. I went to my local medical supply store and they fitted me short Truform 8865s compression stockings. My insurance covers 4 pairs per year. Unfortunately, there was only one pair at the local store, and a new batch didn't arrive until the following week. I didn't want to hand wash at least one pair of stockings every day, so I looked to Revain for that. I noticed this is a Revain Prime product so I will be receiving it in two…
