Pump was only installed 2 months ago and started cycling on and off about a week ago. I'm having a hard time getting someone from the company to get in touch with me to see what I can do to fix the problem.

I'm pumping out a new building foundation and haven't had any problems with it. I try to keep things away from him that might clog him, like small rocks. He hasn't struck yet. I let it run for several hours in a row, about 20 hours total.

Sigh. I'm so sick it seems anyone can take the junk out of their house and sell it here. Thanks for the used pump and poo on it, I was going to return it but it's 12:00 a.m. especially after I filmed the unboxing video.

I decided to buy a pool drain pump instead of renting one that no one knows where was! This pump was so quick and so easy to use that I simply connected my 1 1/2" x 100 foot flat hose, tied a string to the handle, lowered it into my deep end, plugged it in and drained about 1000 gallons of one Hour!

The pump itself is great, pumps well but the bottom stand it sits on in the water was only welded on with oven mitts, buy an oven mitt and when I pulled it out of the water became the booth interrupted. So I had to weld it again. I think there should be much better quality control before it can be sold or shipped.

This pump seems to have enough power to pump out my pool. Unfortunately mine had a broken handle so it takes me inches to get to the pool. The connection from the pump to your hose is plastic and has a 1" wide hole, so your hose connector needs to be a 1" female. (It's not a knock like Revain lists.) With my old one Pump which had all metal fittings I was able to drain it into the pool with a hose I don't think I would do it with a plastic joint and thread.
