If you want a shorter stem then it's hard to find. It's about as cheap as I'd be willing to take out and it's rock-solid reliable. I use it on both my mountain bike and fat bike. This is a slightly taller stem so you may need to remove the spacer underneath your current stem for it to fit.

One piece stem. Very robust and durable. I like that the screws are 5mm all the way around. In addition, it looks very beautiful. I can't say more as I haven't traveled much. Will be updated. Update 10/4/16: Installed on my commuter hardtail, which may be loaned to some team members. I'm a short guy so this stem works really well. Like I said before, it's very sturdy, durable and looks good. A little heavy, but my bike weighs about 30 pounds anyway, so I don't care.

that I bought specifically to use with my 31.8mm handlebars as none of my other stems were that size. I also wanted a short stem to fit. I (surprisingly) couldn't find any nearby. It looks great - I don't usually like over-branding, but it's actually not bad. It keeps you more upright, so if you're leaning too far forward, this may be a good stem to check out. It's very durable and very well made - the only downsides might be that it won't fit you comfortably, which is 100% personal preference…
