Description of 🧊 20ml Silica Aerogel Sample - Tryuunion Frozen Smoke Aerogel Block, World's Lightest Solid for Science and Education

WORLDS LIGHTEST SOLID - Aerogel is well-known for its extremely low density and thermal conductivity. SIZE MATTERS - We are the only seller on Amazon that sells aerogel blocks larger than 1-inch pieces. PACKAGING - Each package contains around 20ml aerogel samples in a sealed bottle. REAL AEROGEL - Produced with supercritical drying method (SCD) to extract liquid from the silica gel. FRAGILE - Silica aerogels are fragile, please be careful when handling.

Misleading and Disappointing

My analysis of this product showed that it was a letdown. The labeling created high expectations but the actual specimen was underwhelming in terms of educational value.

Pros
  • none
Cons
  • Misleading, low educational value

It won't work anymore!

Instead of being nice neat pieces as advertised, it looks like it went through a blender. I have an areosand. So if that's what you want, great. Unless. NOT NECESSARY. order from this company

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • No Power

Waste of Money

I had concerns when I ordered this and those concerns were recognized. Not a product at all that does well with automated picking and ground shipping: instead of the pretty airgel cubes pictured on the order page, I got a small bottle of what's now called Aerosand. There are perhaps two pieces in the bottle worth exploring and one of them leaves a lot to be desired.

Pros
  • Science Education
Cons
  • Lean Education
