Wrong size for scrapbooking and stamping

I was very excited to get this ink based on the reviews. And it even smells delicious, like almond extract. However, I bought this for a 2" x 2" stamp and the description says this ink pad is 2-1/4" x 2-1/4". The ink pad itself is actually only 1.5 x 1.5 inches, so not suitable for my purposes. The product description needs to be updated to reflect the actual size of the ink pad. 2-1/4" is the size on the outside of the product.

Pros
  • Made in Japan
Cons
  • Price that beats the piggy bank

Are there real waterproof inks?

I bought this because I felt the Stazone was good for permanent waterproof embossing. The ink, the color is pleasant, the packaging is nice but not waterproof at all. The ink smudges at the slightest moisture even after it has had enough time to cure. I stamp cork so it's definitely a difficult surface (although less difficult than I'd expect from smooth, non-porous surfaces) but the Stason was definitely a disappointment.

Pros
  • TSUKINEKO-StazOn Midi Ink Pad
Cons
  • High Price

Finally tried it and loved it!

First purchase of StazOn ink. I've been doing needlework for over twenty years, but I've never wanted to try. I stay away from embossing that requires multi-layer inks. I was concerned it might have an odor and was actually told it ruined stamps. I decided to give it a try when the shrink pages said StazOn was the recommended color. Low and look, it has no odor, and not only does it have its own cleaning solution that cleans the stamps to keep them looking like new. Not to mention it workedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Ideal for stamping! Try Fast Drying Solvent Ink
Cons
  • Very Expensive
