This red tape has the same properties as the original Tuck Tape Red can be easily torn by hand. House Sheathing tape designed and engineered for sealing of joints and permanent seaming of sheathing materials. Super Adhesive & Very Sticky: Provides strong, permanent holding power for sealing, protective benefits, ease of handling, and eliminates drafts around window and door openings. Always test the area before using this red tape easy tear since it will leave residue and it will be difficult to remove. great for resin molds and molds

Works very well for sealing resin molds. I also seal the corners with silicone sealant in the corners. Doesn't tear well but I still use scissors. this tape.

Worked great but watch out for this user error

It worked great but I had a problem because I'm a newbie. Don't use a heat gun to close it. It's going to melt, and that's why I have a leak at this point. The rest of the table came right up. I also used the spray.

Dye chips on colored portion of ribbon

Left 4 because their original translucent red doesn't leave little bits of pink color like this. If you backfill (mask the surface with masking tape and turn the panel upside down), pink paint shavings will remain on the surface of the epoxy. Otherwise great product

TOO STICKY - Makes a mess, sticks to itself and any other surface when attempted to use.

Cannot be used, but I tried. TOO STICKY. Get stuck on anything just trying to hold on to the corners and back of an art project. Not breakable into pieces without lots of chips. Very frustrating to use; had to refuse. Now I have a big useless roll. Let's get back to the blue masking tape.

Not for resin band

I got by with cast resin. Thought I'd try another tape to see if it leaks less and this one had good reviews. Unfortunately, it leaks more than the regular $5 duct tape I've used. Also, it will break if ripped off, but not if you stick it to something, so you'll need to use scissors. In general, this is not a very good resin band.

Best duct tape, don't waste your money on anything other than "duct tape ".

I LOVE Tuck Ribbon. I asked about it at a big store nearby and the clerk had no idea what I was talking about. I ran out so I bought replacements there. Terrible! Bad adhesion. The tape might cost a few bucks more but trust me you will be pleased with the time saving and the superior quality of the adhesive.

Does a decent job. . .

I bought for a few uses to seal my plastic wrap to keep moisture out of the walls and to fill wood with epoxy. . It just doesn't stick to it. It REALLY sticks to smooth wood (sanded boards) and almost too well as I had a heck of a time to remove it after pouring the epoxy. I've noticed a leak under the tape, but not outside the taped area just behind the fill area. Next I plan to try backfilling and see how shiny/non-shiny the tape leaves the epoxy. .Oh, and I'm not sure how it's "light tear".…
